All American Academy families with students in grades K–8 (new and returning) must complete two required registrations each year to secure their student’s spot for the upcoming school year:

1. American Academy Annual Registration: April 16–23, 2026

Complete your student’s registration through SchoolMint: https://aak8.schoolmint.com/

• One parent per family should log in using their existing SchoolMint account
• Returning families: click “Add Forms” to begin
• New families: select “Annual Registration”
• Families will review and electronically acknowledge school policies

2. DCSD Express Check-In (July)

Additional district registration completed through the EngagED Parent Portal (more details will be shared closer to July). During this registration you will update important information for the district, and also pay your student fees. Please note that Student Fees are increasing this year. For details please see Student Fees webpage. 

Important: Both registrations are required each year. Missing deadlines may result in your student losing their enrollment spot.
