Important: Delayed Start at Each Campus Coming Up in October

Student safety and security are always our highest priorities. To support this, we’ve scheduled a late start at each campus on the dates below so staff can take part in important training.

Campus Dates:

  • Castle Pines campus: Monday, October 20, 2025

  • Lincoln Meadows & Motsenbocker campus: Monday, October 27, 2025
     

Late Start Times for All Campuses

  • K–8 Carpool Begins: 8:35 am

  • K–8 Classes Begin: 9:05 am

    Note: LM will not follow a staggered carpool or staggered start on this date.

Schedule Adjustments

K–8

  • All morning ECAs (including Morning Club) will be canceled.

  • All staff and parent meetings scheduled before 9:05 am will be canceled; staff will reach out to reschedule.

  • Morning carpool begins at 8:35 am.

  • Classes begin at 9:05 am.

KindiePrep

  • Morning ExtraCare (before-care) will be canceled.

  • Doors open at 9:15 am.

  • Classes begin at 9:30 am.

Lockdown Drill with DCSD Security

On these late start days, each campus will also conduct a Lockdown Drill in partnership with DCSD security. These drills are always handled with care—staff from DCSD take the time to have age-appropriate discussions with students, answer questions, and ensure the experience is both safe and reassuring.

Supporting Emotional Well-Being

We recognize that safety drills can bring up different feelings for students, staff, and families. Emotional well-being is an important part of this process, and we want to support you in having these conversations at home.
