Teacher Appreciation Week

AALM

Teacher Appreciation Week was a huge success! Even though we did things remotely, we were able to pull off some great things for our amazing teachers! Now, more than ever, they needed to feel our appreciation and love! Here is a breakdown of events we did for the week of May 4-8:

Mariachi Monday: Who doesn’t love a night off cooking?!?! Casa Mariachi is working with us to get taco kits to our teachers. It will be enough to feed their whole family.

Tell ‘em Tuesday (we need your help this day): Let's surprise the teachers with the attached "Hats Off To My Teacher" pictures.

Please have your student color the hat and write a special note to their teacher telling them how spectacular they are! (Don't forget to sign it)

You may print and color as many hats as you'd like. Feel free to make some for the specials teachers and any of your favorite staff members. Just scan and to brighten up their mailboxes.

Words of Wisdom Wednesday: This day is all about recognizing the “at home” teachers or parents. The teachers will be sending words of wisdom to the parents.

Thirsty Thursday: We will be quenching the thirst of our teachers with a Starbucks treat. We will be providing a Starbucks QR code loaded with enough money for every teacher to make their way to a Starbucks close to them for a drink provided by the families of AA-LM.

Favorites Friday (we need your help this day): In the past, this day would be full of little gifts off the teachers’ favorites list. One way to still spoil the teachers with their favorites would be to send an e-gift card to one of their favorite clothing stores, bookstores or restaurants.

Please remember that all participation is completely optional.
