LOGGING VOLUNTEER HOURS

Each year, American Academy parents are helping to build a strong sense of school community by committing to volunteer 40 hours of their time. We will have TONS of sign-ups on this page throughout the year for various volunteer opportunities, so do check back often. And be sure to log your hours! Volunteer early and often! Thank you in advance for your time and volunteer hours. They say 'it takes a village' and it truly does. Our events, fundraisers, teacher/staff appreciation events and more would not be possible without your help. THANK YOU!

Spring Mixer Committee & Volunteer Opportunities:

Our Spring Mixer will be held on April 6, 2024! This is a HUGE event that takes a village to pull off. We'd love for you to join our crew! Know local business owners? Are you an organized party planner? Just want to help us set up and breakdown? We need you and thank you in advance!

Monthly Teacher Appreciation Luncheons:

We are thrilled to offer our amazing staff monthly lunches on the 1st Friday of every month. If you have any questions, please contact our VP of Outreach and Inward Service, Ali Cowles. Please check our bi-monthly emails and Facebook page regularly for themes, details and sign ups. The staff is already getting hungry!

Remember that your time shopping and preparing food counts towards the encouraged 40 hours of volunteerism per family!

Did you know that you can get volunteer hours just for shopping at King Soopers? It's true! For every $200 spent at King Soopers, you can earn 1 volunteer hour! King Soopers had made it easier than ever to support our school via their Community Rewards Program.

Click here to get started. Log in to your digital account; (you may have done this to order for Click-List before.) Once logged in, click, "Enroll Now" and search for American Academy PTO - Lincoln Meadows. Then choose, "enroll." That's it! Now you can still get the same groceries you would buy anyway, the school gets rewarded and you get volunteer hours!

WATCH D.O.G.S. ® (Dads Of Great Students) is a family and community engagement educational initiative, and it's coming to American Academy! And while the national program is geared toward dads, American Academy welcomes all who are willing to help - moms, grandmas, grandpas, uncles, and aunts!
