There are a few changes to the structure of STEM this year. Your student will have STEM for half of the trimester. Their science class will be divided into two groups and half of the students will be in science while the other half is in STEM. Each group will have both individual and partner assignments to deepen their understanding of coding, robotics, and the Engineering Design Process. What an exciting opportunity to have small class sizes for more small group teaching and in-depth discovery!
Third grade will have STEM during trimester 3 (February 26-May 9)
-The first unit will be building and coding with Lego Spike Essential
-The second unit will be coding with Sphero
