During Trimester 1 (September 3 - November 15), fourth grade students will split their time between Science and STEM class. Half the students will be in science class with Ms. Folkman, while the other half will be in STEM class with Mrs. Stainbrook. Then, halfway through the trimester, students will switch. This gives every fourth grade student 24 class periods in STEM.

• The first STEM unit will be Sphero and will focus on problem solving skills using sensors. 
• The second STEM unit will be with the Lego Spike Prime Robots and will focus on coding.
