We have two bands here at Lincoln Meadows:
🎺 Rebel Band (Grades 4-8):
This group is open to first-year musicians learning a woodwind, brass, or percussion instrument. Students need to be in 4rd grade for their first year of participation. Prior instrumental knowledge is not required. The method book used in this class will be Essential Elements 2000 for Band Book 1, along with supplemental music that will be learned for pleasure and performances. Students will be responsible for securing their own instrument and method book with recommendations from the instructor.
Lincoln Meadows Rebel Band Information:
Rehearsals are Mondays and Wednesday, beginning January 29, from 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. (AAPA classes do not meet when school is not in session)

🥁 Academy Band (Grades 4-8):
This group is geared towards students who have played their band instrument for at least one year. We will continue using our method book from Rebel Band, and will begin learning supplemental sheet music for performance. Students will be responsible for securing their own instrument and method book, and rental options can be recommended by contacting your instructor.

Rehearsals are Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning January 30, from 4 p.m. - 4:45 p.m. (AAPA classes do not meet when school is not in session)
