Janae Myers, AAPTO-LM Treasurer

KPT
Janae Myers is looking forward to giving back to the AA community in her new role as Treasurer for the Lincoln Meadows PTO. Born and raised in Wisconsin, Janae met her Denver native husband, Derrick, in college and together they moved (back) to Colorado in 2005. They have been married for 12 years and have 3 children: Theoren (4th grade), Trista (3rd grade) and Taya (1). Janae worked in a public accounting firm for almost 10 years after graduating college and obtained her Certified Public Accountant license, which makes her a great fit for this position. She's currently a stay at home Mom with their third child while maintaining her license and doing bookkeeping work for a family business. Janae and her family love traveling the country in their RV and going to amusement parks, but while they are home during the school year you will most likely find Janae and Derrick cheering on their kids in their sporting activities which include ice hockey, lacrosse, volleyball, soccer, gymnastics and swimming!

Lindsey Barmes, AAPTO-LM Vice President of Social Events

Lindsey

Lindsey is excited to help create fun and exciting memories for her American Academy family at Lincoln Meadows.  Hailing from the good ol' Midwest - she takes "Midwest nice" to heart!

After stepping down from her corporate hotel position in 2019 to become a stay-at-home momager, she recently felt the need to tackle a new adventure with her almost two decades of hospitality experience in operations, sales, and event planning.  Not one to shy away from adventure or a challenge, she is excited to take on this new volunteer role with zest!

Lindsey and her husband, Frank, met playing league rugby well after college and decided to marry years later.  They have called Parker home for the past 5 years and have made incredible memories with their two children in beautiful Colorado. You can find them enjoying family time while traveling and pursuing outdoor activities.  It is Lindsey's first year with the American Academy community with her oldest child in Kindergarten and she cannot wait to grow with her new AA family!
