Though American Academy does not endorse any particular high school, our students are very fortunate to have many wonderful public and private high school options in the area. Chaparral High School

Tours will be held the second Thursday of each month starting at 10:00 a.m. Tours last approximately 30 minutes. Dates may be adjusted for holidays and testing schedules.

Lutheran High School

All of our 7th and 8th graders are invited to our Preview Day on Monday, September 22nd from 9:00am to 11:30am! RSVP here. Our Fall Open House will be from 6:30 to 8:00pm on Tuesday, October 28th. Students and families are welcomed to campus by faculty and staff, coaches, current parents, and current students, who will be available to answer questions and provide more information on all things LuHi. For more information, please visit our website here. An RSVP is not mandatory for the Open House and everyone is welcome to attend!

Mullen High School

Mullen's annual Open House date will be Sunday, November 9th. Student-directed tours begin at 10:00 a.m. and are available until 1:00 p.m. Application deadline is December 14, 2025. More info here.

SkyView Academy

Shadow days are available for 8th - 11th graders. Come Spend Time as a Hawk! Shadow days are held from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm throughout the year and new dates are added periodically. Sign up for a Shadow Day here. 

St. Mary's Academy

STEM High School

Tours for the 2026-27 school year will begin September 23, 2025. Our school will be open on October 30, 2025 to prospective families exploring all grade levels—elementary, middle, and high school. Register for a Shadow Day here.
